My Editor in Chief asked me this time around to use my hidden creativity, to avoid being boring and part of the expected cliché and write a small piece that is out of the box. So here it is, in English, and fresh from my tangled inner mind.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year and a time to reflect and join forces with my inner thoughts and promises that were kept under wraps for one or another reason. Once a year we reflect on actions taken or not taken and we promise ourselves that the New Year will act as a catalyst. A catalyst that is linked with our New Year resolutions.

Well, in my eyes one and only Resolution is Needed and our Fab Four had it right ever since their song in 1967 came out, through their Album the Magical Mystery Tour-ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. Sounds like a cliché, one though that deserves to be respected and followed- and intentionally the Lyrics are simplistic and here lies the beauty of it! A simplistic yet holistic approach towards Life, towards our relationship with the Human World, the Animal World and our Planet as a vehicle of growth and prosperity.
If we take the Oxford Dictionary definition for love we come up with the following: “An intense feeling of deep affection”.

Therefore, if we practice deep affection towards Humans and Animals and we protect our Planet and our Society through affection, respect and kindness we can really see our future through an optimistic lens. To quote Jimmy Hendrix- to a certain extend- “When the power of love overcomes the love for power then we shall reach a deep and intense feeling of affection for everything living in our World”.
We are being tested over the last two years through the spread of the Pandemic and this creates a golden opportunity in reassessing and revaluating the way we treat our fellow human beings and the way we treat the resources of our Planet.
Please do not misunderstand my comments as another wishy washi approach-On the contrary, one can become two and two can become 10 and as we proceed and multiply in numbers and strength we can create a critical mass to change the way we see Life and the way we Live Life.
